Resumen

La Convención para la Salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial  
(UNESCO, 2003) como instrumento jurídico vinculante ratificado por  
Argentina en el año 2006 mediante Ley 26.118, es una herramienta  
inserta dentro las políticas públicas por la cual las comunidades y  
grupos sociales ejercen su derecho a la identidad y a la  
autodeterminación a través de la identificación, reconocimiento y  
protección de las expresiones y/o manifestaciones culturales
que les son inherentes. En tal sentido y en congruencia con los marcos  
normativos internacionales que resguardan los derechos humanos y  
protegen la riqueza cultural y natural, este trabajo busca dar cuenta  
de los elementos culturales promovidos por los colectivos cannábicos  
que de manera organizada
bajo diferentes formas asociativas revitalizan, gestionan y  
resguardan. Dichos colectivos en tanto portadores/gestores transmiten  
sus saberes intergeneracional y transversalmente en relación a las  
prácticas de cultivo, objetivos de manufactura, consumo e  
investigación que se dan en los diferentes contextos desde los cuales  
se adjudica a la planta de Cannabis sativa L. atributos culturales,  
medicinales y productivos.

Abstract

The Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural  
Heritage (UNESCO, 2003), as a binding legal instrument ratified by  
Argentina in 2006 by Law 26.118, is a tool integrated with the public  
policies that allow the communities and social groups to exercise  
their rights of identity and self-determination through the  
recognition, identification and protection of their expressions and  
cultural manifestations associated therewith. In this sense, and in  
congruence with the international policy frameworks that safeguard  
human rights and protect the cultural and natural wealth, this work  
looks to show the cultural
elements promoted by groups related to the cannabis plant that in an  
organized way are revitalizing, managing and protecting. These groups  
as bearers/managers of their culture transmit to their peers and among  
generations, their knowledge related to crop, manufacturing practices,  
consume and the cannabis Sativa plant research and its cultural,  
medical and productive attributes.
